Wow, I think Wyoming takes the cake for the most semi trucks on the road. Cars were definitely in the minority all the way across the state to Cheyenne. After experiencing the deluxe rest areas in Idaho, the rest areas in Wyoming were nothing but pulloffs (no services) for semi trucks. Thankfully we are self contained and didn't need to use outside facilities.
The rock formations and the flowing ranges were beautiful as we traveled eastward. In one large section there were grazing antelope in the distance. They seem to like to hang with the cattle, probably because hay is dumped in areas for the cattle.
As we approached Cheyenne, we could see the whole eastern sky covered with ominous clouds that appeared to be thunderstorms. Luckily we turned south and headed to Ft Collins. We stopped short of the city and stayed overnight in the Poudre Rest Area, a beautiful place next to the Visitors Center. The bathrooms were interesting. They were air conditioned, but the sinks had been taken out and replaced with hand sanitizer. Big sign stated "no sleeping inside".

Tomorrow we arrive at the RV Park in Littleton and then we prepare our backpacks in order to hit the trail early Monday morning!
